EarthGang's awards and nominations, explained
Every major award and nomination for EarthGang, including Grammy nods for Down Bad and Collide and an ARIA win.
EarthGang is often introduced as "Grammy-nominated." Here's what that actually covers, along with the duo's other honors.
Grammy Awards
- 2020, Best Rap Performance (nominated): "Down Bad" with J. Cole, JID, Bas, and Young Nudy, from Dreamville's Revenge of the Dreamers III. The compilation itself was nominated for Best Rap Album the same year.
- 2021, Best R&B Song (nominated): "Collide" with singer Tiana Major9.
So the duo has two Grammy nominations of their own, one in rap and one in R&B. That range is very on-brand.
Other awards
- Black Reel Awards, 2020 (won): Outstanding Original Song for "Collide" with Tiana Major9.
- BET Hip Hop Awards, 2020 (nominated): Best Duo/Group.
- ARIA Music Awards, 2023 (won): Best Soul/R&B Release for "Mess Around," Australian singer Forest Claudette's song featuring EarthGang.
Big-stage moments
Not every milestone comes with a trophy. EarthGang made "Swing" with Benji for the game Marvel's Spider-Man 2, partnered with Nike on a campaign, played Coachella in 2023, and toured North America with Gorillaz in 2022.
