Who is WowGr8? Meet EarthGang's Doctur Dot
WowGr8, also known as Doctur Dot, is the other half of EarthGang. Here's his story, role, and best work.
WowGr8 is the second half of EarthGang. He also goes by Doctur Dot, and his given name is Eian Parker. If Olu is the one who suggested starting a group, WowGr8 is the one who said yes, and the duo has been together since 2008.
From field trip to forever
The pair met as ninth graders on a field trip at Benjamin Elijah Mays High School in Atlanta. They built EarthGang as teenagers, released their first EP in 2010, and spent the next several years self-releasing projects and touring before signing with J. Cole's Dreamville Records in August 2017. Read the full origin story.
Producer as well as rapper
Spillage Village lists Doctur Dot as a producer from 2020 on. That was the year the collective holed up in an Atlanta studio house during the pandemic and made Spilligion. Since then, he's been part of shaping the sound as well as rapping on it.
How he talks about the music
WowGr8 tends to explain EarthGang's albums with big, clear ideas. When Ghetto Gods came out in 2022, he said the music was meant to feel certain and confident, a contrast to the uncertainty of Spilligion, which was made in the middle of 2020. When Perfect Fantasy arrived in 2024, he compared the duo's career to a video game in which the algorithm was the boss and the album was the boss battle. That framing tells you a lot about how the group thinks: every project is a chapter with a purpose.
Beyond music
In September 2026, WowGr8 (as Doctur Dot) and Olu spoke with the outlet Connecting Africa on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly about the environmental cost of AI data centers. He also co-wrote the duo's 2026 comic book, EarthGang and The Wheel of Fate #1.
Where to start with WowGr8
- Ghetto Gods (2022): his "certainty" album, rooted in Atlanta.
- Revenge of the Dreamers III (2019): the Dreamville compilation, including the Grammy-nominated "Down Bad."
- Perfect Fantasy (2024): the boss battle itself.
